| The Gifford farmhouse is staffed
with Capitol Reef Natural History Association employees who interpret
the history of the homestead and lifestyle of early pioneers
of the area.
Simple homemaking skills and crafts of the time period such
as quilting, rug weaving, rug twining, basket weaving and wool
spinning are demonstrated daily.
